ACT II.

CURTAIN.

THE SCENE: three roommates (DALI, JUSTINAS and JORGE) sit on the couch watching riveting first-round NBA playoff action on the TV. MATT sits at the kitchen table behind them, half-watching the game, half paying attention to his future.

JORGE notes that DANNY FERRY is still around and playing for the San Antonio Spurs. He remembers that he was an especially good player in college.

JORGE: "I think he was drafted by the Cavs after college."

DALI (sincerely misunderstanding): The Cows?

JORGE: "No, the Cavs, the Cleveland Cavaliers."

MATT: "The Cows are Iowa's NBA team."
