October 11, 2002 - If you were trying to provoke us, it worked.

Last week, MattScott5000 discovered a security breach, and a strong coalition was formed to resolve the problem. Thankfully, the perpetrators returned our property, but not before hurting MattScott5000's good name. In the week since the attack, we have noticed increased chatter on hdjunk. Do not fear, we have taken measures to build walls around our content. High level meetings between your webmasters have taken place and many sensitive technological solutions have been developed to prevent future attacks.

In other news, the rc5-64 encryption challenge is complete. I was saddened by this news, but luckily another worthy project has taken shape. I am now a founding member of team TITS ----> ( . Y . ) <---- TITS (Team # 11324). My call sign is rc5lover. The Folding@Home challenge attempts to discover relationships between disease and protein folding. There is fantastic documentation at the site, and I encourage everyone to join our group. Contact me if you have any problems getting the system up and running. BTW, OS X rocks. Macs fold more proteins than PCs at a ratio of 1.27:1 If you don't believe me, ¡check it out!

Finally, MattScott5000 wants to thank those in the Content community who supported us during the time we were "Hacked by Chinese." We continue to provide the world's best content, and we hope you stick with us in the coming weeks.
